Our handmade chenille blankets and throws are made in our small studio located among the redwoods of Northern California. All throws are made of 100% cotton chenille providing comfort and durability to the product. Colors, dyed in the studio by hand and inspired by the world at large, are organized by hue, value, and temperature to contribute texture and beauty to every piece. Once the colors are organized, the loom is "dressed" with combinations of colors and the throws are woven. In the finishing process, the fringe is tied, stray ends are sewn in, and the throws are hand washed, line-dried, and fluffed in the dryer on air for a few minutes.
